Epoxy Flooring
- Hyper Flake Epoxy: This application involves a high concentration of decorative flakes, creating a dense and vibrant look. It provides excellent coverage and durability, making it ideal for high-traffic areas. Hyper Flake is a combination of different flake sizes, resulting in a natural stone finish.
- Ultra Flake Epoxy: This application uses a moderate concentration of flakes, offering a more subtle and sophisticated appearance. It balances aesthetic appeal with functionality, suitable for both residential and commercial spaces. Ultra Flake is an alternative to polished concrete.
Both Hyper Flake and Ultra Flake applications come in four different topcoat finishes:
- Essential Finish: Ideal for garages, commercial spaces, and educational facilities, offering a textured finish.
- Crystal Finish: Suitable for the interior of homes, showrooms, and commercial spaces, resulting in a semi-textured finish.
- Diamond Finish: A high gloss finish that adds a wow factor to any residential or commercial floor.
- Grip Finish: The perfect combination of a modern flooring system with slip resistance. Ideal for around pools, driveways, pathways, and anywhere the consideration of water is required.
- Moisture Testing: Before starting the epoxy application, we conduct thorough moisture testing to ensure the concrete surface is dry. Excess moisture can affect the adhesion and longevity of the epoxy coating.
- Concrete Grinding: We use specialized equipment to grind the concrete surface, removing any existing coatings, stains, or imperfections. This process creates a clean and smooth surface, essential for proper epoxy adhesion.
- Cleaning and Repair: The floor is meticulously cleaned to remove dust and debris. Any cracks or damages in the concrete are repaired to ensure a uniform surface.
- Primer Application: A high-quality primer is applied to enhance the bond between the concrete and the epoxy coating, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish.
- Quality and Durability: Our epoxy products are of professional-grade quality, designed for long-lasting durability and resistance to wear and tear. Store-bought products often lack the same level of resilience and may require more frequent maintenance.
- Customization: We offer a wide range of customizable options, including different flake sizes, colors, and finishes to match your specific needs and preferences. Store-bought products usually come in limited options.
- UV Resistance: Most store-bought epoxy products turn yellow or discolor after a few years because they are not UV resistant. Our products will not discolor because our primer coat, base coat, and top coats are all UV resistant and contain UV blockers.
- Expert Application: Our team of experienced professionals ensures precise and thorough application, guaranteeing a flawless finish. DIY kits from stores like Bunnings may not deliver the same level of perfection and can be prone to errors.
Yes, epoxy floors can be used both indoors and outdoors. Indoor applications are popular for garages, basements, and commercial spaces, while outdoor applications include patios, driveways, and pool decks. Our system is ideal for outdoor use because of its UV resistance, which prevents yellowing and degradation from sun exposure.
Epoxy floors are extremely durable and resistant to a variety of damages, including abrasions, chemical spills, and heavy foot or vehicle traffic. When properly applied and maintained, they can last for many years without significant wear or damage.
Cleaning epoxy floors is straightforward:
- Regular Sweeping: Use a soft-bristle broom or dust mop to remove dirt and debris.
- Mopping: For deeper cleaning, use a mop with a mild detergent solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools, as they can damage the surface.
- Spot Cleaning: Wipe up spills immediately with a soft cloth or sponge to prevent staining or damage.
